Pennsylvania State
We collect State Hotel Occupancy Tax for all reservations in the state of Pennsylvania under 30 nights. The taxes are remitted by us directly to the state. We began collecting and remitting in Pennsylvania February 1, 2019.

Pennsylvania Counties
We collect County Hotel Room Rental Tax for all reservations in the state of Pennsylvania.  Most reservations under 31 nights are taxable, but exemptions vary by locality. 
All County Hotel Room Rental Taxes are remitted by us directly to the county.  For counties denoted with an asterisk (*), a portion of taxes are remitted by us directly to the state. We began collecting and remitting in Pennsylvania counties on the dates listed below.

April 1, 2019
Allegheny*, Butler, Carbon, Centre, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Northampton, Philadelphia*, Pike, Somerset, Wayne, and Westmoreland.

May 1, 2019
Adams, Berks, Bucks, Chester, Clearfield, Columbia, Crawford, Dauphin, Delaware, Erie, Fayette, Huntingdon, Lebanon, Montgomery, Susquehanna, Tioga, and York.

June 1, 2019
Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Bradford, Cambria, Cameron, Clarion, Clinton, Cumberland, Elk, Forest, Franklin, Indiana, Jefferson, Juniata, Lawrence, Lycoming, McKean, Mercer, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Schuylkill, Snyder, Sullivan, Union, Venango, Warren, Washington, and Wyoming.
