Tips for resetting your password

To protect our owners and property managers, we have implemented new, stronger password requirements. All owners and property managers are required to reset their passwords in order to continue logging in to their VRBO.com accounts. We understand that this in an inconvenience, but we are committed to protecting accounts.

If you are having trouble resetting your password, first, be sure you are not pasting a word into the field -- you need to actually type in the characters.

There are 4 criteria for resetting your password:

- It must be a mix of both numbers and letters
- It must be 7-12 characters
- It must contain no commonly used terms (such as "password," "vrbo," series of numbers like 1234 or 1111, series of letters like abcd or aaaa, for example)
- You must confirm the password in the last field, and what you enter in that field must EXACTLY match the password you entered in the "New Password" field.

Remember, passwords are CaSe SenSiTiVe, so enter them carefully.

There is an interactive box to the right of the fields. Before you begin, the little boxes to the left of each criteria are red. As you enter information in the boxes and the information matches the criteria, the box will turn green, letting you know that what you have entered in that box meets the criteria. When all four boxes are green, you are good to go!

Don't forget to click "Finished" at the bottom of the page once all fields have been successfully completed. Now, the new information you entered is on record for your account, and you should use this information each time you log onto your account.
